From Bangkok

By Bus

Cheapest way. 90 baht for a single trip. Bus driver will drop your luggage in the special compartments. Departures every hour from Ekamai station. Thsi station is easy to access from the skytrain.

By Taxi

Halt a taxi driver in Bangkok, and agree a fare of around 900-1100 baht. Exclude Expressway Fee. Try to pick a new and good looking taxi as the trip is 2 hours. Sometimes the taxi driver will change car. In those cases He/She changes it to a LPG fueled car.

From Don Muang Airport (Bangkok)

By Bus

There is a special bus from Thai Airways, they bring you for 350 baht a person to Pattaya.

By Normal Taxi

Go to the Taxi counter outside the arrival hall, a small counter where the taxi wait in a row to pick up customers. Pay 50 baht for a voucher. And the staff will bring you to your taxi. Prices are standardized, for a trip to Pattaya (believe 1300 Baht).

By Limo service

Great cars bring you to Pattaya for around 1500-1800 baht. In the Arrival Hall on Don Muang are Booths prices and cars available. BEST BET TO RECOVER FROM A FLIGHT!

The Expat way

Do not try it when you are unknown with Thailand!!. Save some bahts by walking to the Departure Floor. (Ground floor). Halt a taxi who just brought persons to the airport and drive away on "the Meter" or agree a fare.

Leaving Pattaya For Bangkok

By Bus via North Pattaya Bus station

Every 30 minutes (untill 21.00) aircon. busses leave for Ekamai station in Bangkok (Bangkok Eastern Bus Terminal) Fare 90 baht. The trip is around 2 hours, and it brings you at walking distance from the Sky train. With the sky train you can surf trough Bangkok Good for daytrips!!! or book a hotel in Bangkok for a night!!! recommended.

(Baht busses ask 20 baht to bring you to the bus station in Pattaya.)

By normal Taxi

At the streat side you find many booths for booking a taxi to Bangkok general 850 Baht (without expressway)

For Don Muang Airport (Bangkok)

Thai airways has special busses 250 baht a person, who brings you directly to the airport.

Limo Service (Thai airways)

Fare is around 1800 Baht. Extra fee for picking up at Hotel.
