Each line has been assigned a different colour
to make it easier for passengers to identify the routes. Bus stops
are also colour coded and numbered so passengers know where to board
and disembark.
The
modern microbuses seat
thirty people in
air-conditioned comfort and
literally ‘embody’ Pattaya's
image as a vibrant,
fresh-and-fun leisure
destination. The bus bodies
sport bright and breezy
designs.
Each
line has its own fixed
clockwise and
counter-clockwise routes,
making a total of six
routes, served by three
buses per route from 6.00 am
to 2.00 am the following
day.
The
service is being operated by
Pattaya Beach Bus Co. Ltd.,
in a joint venture with the
state-run Office of SME
Promotion.
The
Green Line clockwise route
was launched in August 2005.
According to Pattaya Beach
Bus Co. Ltd., the
counter-clockwise route for
the Green Line will be
launched in October 2005.
Other routes will be added
gradually in the run-up to
December 2005, when the full
service will be launched |
